The hen knows that inside each egg a chick awaits birth. If the hen pecks on an egg to help the chick come out before the chick is ready, she can destroy it. So she waits and listens until she hears the chick pecking from the inside, then she starts pecking from the outside too.
Buddhist metaphor
not goals, but rather, a set of choices or selections of optimal applications to meet whatever needs present themselves to the client. While it may seem that bodywork is the obvious first choice, frequently energy work, talking or holding may be options of intentions that therapists need to consider too. We want to be open to awareness, curiosity, and participation with the client, and not lose any opportunity to allow shifts and transformations to happen.

I am tired.
I am tired of surviving this life instead of living it. What does surviving mean you ask?
Surviving is the act of peddling through life with small amounts of fun, but mostly worried about what is around the next corner and how you will make it through. It’s not a pleasant time, surviving. You miss out on adventure, on fun, on LIFE. Most people will never understand this. They have never truly had to survive. They have others to rely on, family to rely on and small financial worry/burdens. Surviving is like being a hermit, except that instead of staying under a rock (or in your home) you are experiencing the external world just for what it is which in this case is simply: work.
I need help. I need to feel like I belong. I need to listen to my heart.
But HOW?
