The Hen & The Egg

The hen knows that inside each egg a chick awaits birth. If the hen pecks on an egg to help the chick come out before the chick is ready, she can destroy it. So she waits and listens until she hears the chick pecking from the inside, then she starts pecking from the outside too.

Buddhist metaphor

Anxiety is excitement without the breath.

Intentions are

not goals, but rather, a set of choices or selections of optimal applications to meet whatever needs present themselves to the client. While it may seem that bodywork is the obvious first choice, frequently energy work, talking or holding may be options of intentions that therapists need to consider too. We want to be open to awareness, curiosity, and participation with the client, and not lose any opportunity to allow shifts and transformations to happen.

Thank you for listening. Thank you for understanding. I know what I said before and it was a little drastic, but it was the truth. I am beginning to see…
Me
There is no good or bad, right or wrong, or better or worse. You are who you are and your transformations require a healthy attitude of acceptance, patience, and encouragement.
Question on Embodiment

Can you choose to look at yourself without judgement, and note every piece of you without condemning, criticizing, blaming, pushing away, interpreting, belittling, berating, apologizing, elaborating, translating, liking or disliking?

I think life should be about touching the lives of people around us. Making a difference. Accepting people for who they are, going out of our way to help others, and loving with all that we’ve got. Sometimes all it takes is one simple gesture, and we can put a smile on someone’s face and make them feel less alone. That is what we should live for, because when we’re gone from this world, we can’t take anything with us. All that’s left are the people whose lives you touched, and the difference you’ve made while you were here. So make this life count, because you don’t get a second chance.
Survival

I am tired.

I am tired of surviving this life instead of living it. What does surviving mean you ask?

Surviving is the act of peddling through life with small amounts of fun, but mostly worried about what is around the next corner and how you will make it through. It’s not a pleasant time, surviving. You miss out on adventure, on fun, on LIFE. Most people will never understand this. They have never truly had to survive. They have others to rely on, family to rely on and small financial worry/burdens. Surviving is like being a hermit, except that instead of staying under a rock (or in your home) you are experiencing the external world just for what it is which in this case is simply: work.

I need help. I need to feel like I belong. I need to listen to my heart.

But HOW?

People cry, not because they are weak. It’s because they’ve been strong for too long.

Unless man can understand two contraries, that is, two contradictory things, together, then truly and without any doubt it is not easy to speak to him of such things. For, until he understands this, he has not yet started out on the path of the life that I am talking about.
